The official Erie Ambassadors Group on LinkedIn, a leading professional networking website, provides Ambassadors with access to each other and a network of millions of people around the globe — virtually expanding the group's reach to the world. LinkedIn is an online network of more than 17 million experienced professionals from around the world, representing 150 industries.

When you join, you create a profile that summarizes your professional accomplishments and provides basic contact information. Your profile helps you find and be found by other Ambassadors, former colleagues, classmates, clients and partners. You can also add more connections by inviting trusted contacts to join LinkedIn and connect with you. At first, your immediate network consists of other Ambassadors, their connections, their connections’ connections, and the people they know — linking you to thousands of qualified professionals.

The Erie Ambassadors Group group allows you to:

You can use LinkedIn, an independent commercial service, to expand and track your network in an organized and systematic way. Complete a simple profile and then use LinkedIn to connect with individuals you know who are already members. The EA group on LinkedIn provides an ideal starting point and becomes more useful as it grows. It will also provide you with a point of contact for individuals outside the Erie community who are connected to your fellow Ambassadors.

LinkedIn functions independently from the Chamber membership database. There is no connection between the two and, for now, there is no synchronization between the databases. So, be sure to update your information using the Members Only section of our website as well if you change contact information.
