Ambassador Training
The Erie Ambassador program is designed to thoroughly train civic and community leaders interested in promoting Erie. The course examines numerous aspects of the community, providing in-depth information from Erie’s top civic leaders.
The 2009 Ambassador curriculum includes:
- Program Orientation
- 12th Street Corridor
- Entertainment and Cultural District
- Education
- Bayfront District
- Tourism Industry
- Presque Isle
- Erie County Political System
- Economic Development System
The spring training course is in progress. The fall Ambassador training begins in September with classes held Tuesday mornings. The cost of the Ambassador training is $175, covering all materials and transportation, and space is limited.
