Edinboro Community Group to Unveil New Regional Travel Website
A new website designed to position the Edinboro area as a “destination” location will be unveiled by the Edinboro Economic and Community Development organization (ECED) at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, September 21, at the new Lakeside Beach Bar in the Lakeside Commons mall in Edinboro.
The website, which aims to both increase tourism in southern Erie County and promote the region as a great place to live and work, was developed by faculty and students in Edinboro University’s Center for Branding and Strategic Communication. The center is Edinboro’s “beehive” in the NWPA Innovation Beehive Network, a collaborative effort between Edinboro, Penn State Behrend, Gannon University, Mercyhurst University and the Erie County Public Library aimed at regional business expansion and development.
In addition to the public unveiling of the website, representatives from ECED, Edinboro University, and the NWPA Innovation Beehive Network will be on hand to discuss the project and answer questions.
