Edinboro University's Beehive launches new business podcast
A new podcast profiling some of Northwest Pennsylvania’s most interesting business leaders will debut later this month thanks to Edinboro University’s Center for Branding and Strategic Communication.
The podcast, titled “Buzz, Generated,” will launch on Oct. 28 with a pilot episode featuring Jon Meighan, owner of Lake Erie Rubber & Manufacturing and the developer of the One Leg Up! line of pet products.
The 10-episode first season, running through spring 2020, will also include episodes profiling Jim Becker and Angela Annibale of the Economic Progress Alliance of Crawford County; Perry Wood, executive director of Erie County Gaming Revenue Authority (ECGRA); and Kristen Santiago, who owns a small business consulting company that operates out of Radius CoWork in Erie. The first season of “Buzz, Generated” is sponsored by the Erie Regional Chamber & Growth Partnership.
Listen to the podcast at Apple Podcasts, Google, Spotify or any other podcast provider. Episodes are also available at https://www.nwpabeehive.com.
The show is hosted by Dr. Tony Peyronel, Edinboro’s executive director for entrepreneurial development, and co-produced by Edinboro faculty member Chris Lantinen and Edinboro students Keith Hepler and Britton Rozzelle.
The Center for Branding and Strategic Communication is part of the NWPA Innovation Beehive Network, a collaborative initiative between Edinboro, Penn State Behrend, Gannon University, Mercyhurst University and the Erie County Public Library that provides free consulting services to start-up businesses in the region.
