Fall Erie Ambassadors Graduate
Ten years ago, the ERCGP kicked off a training program designed to underscore local assets by educating citizens through a nine session, hands-on course, elevating those assets' importance to community and economic development. To date, 500+ citizens have now graduated from this program, and 20 will join the ranks as Fall 2017 Erie Ambassador Graduation took place at the Erie Yacht Club on Tuesday, November 28th at 5:30pm.
While the shores of our region have many gems to share, nine sessions limits the number of venues available for tour. The curriculum changes from year to year, and alumni are offered the opportunity to join current classes featuring new curriculum.
Some of the venues and hosts have included:
Highmark Caring Place, City of Erie, Baldwin Business Park County of Erie Downtown Erie Redevelopment Tour Erie County Technical School Watson Curtze Mansion Gannon Small Business Development Center 12th Street Historic Tour – EMTA & Rick Griffith Properties The Brewerie at Union Station Presque Isle/TREC DonJon Shipyard Bloom Collaborative Bayfront Boat Tour by the Port Authority Scott Enterprises/Splash Lagoon Cruise Boat Terminal – Border Patrol Erie Water Works Erie Insurance Erie Playhouse Erie Maritime Museum
