Kara Coleman to Return to Erie News Now Sunrise
ERIE, PA (WICU/WSEE) — Kara Coleman is returning as the morning news anchor at Erie News Now Sunrise, September 9th. Kara will anchor the 5 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., Monday through Friday alongside current anchor Mark Soliday.
In announcing the appointment, Pam Forsyth, General Manager of Erie News Now said, “Mark and Kara have always been a great team together.” She added, “They are THE must watch team in Erie, along with meteorologist David Wolter in the morning.”
Coleman began her broadcast career reporting at WXVT in Greenville, Mississippi and then moved to New Bern, North Carolina where she anchored the morning and noon show for WCTI.
"I’m very excited to get back with the morning team, turns out I’m an early bird!” said Coleman.
Coleman is married with two children and a graduate of St. Bonaventure University. Kara has been part of the Erie News Now team since 2010.
