Over 500 Students Graduate from Edinboro University
EDINBORO, Pa. – Edinboro University will celebrate the academic success of 530 students in the Class of 2022 during in-person undergraduate and graduate ceremonies Saturday, May 7.

Undergraduate Commencement begins at 10 a.m. at McComb Fieldhouse, 455 Scotland Road. Beginning at 2 p.m., Dr. Hannan will award master’s degrees at the Graduate Commencement, located in Louis C. Cole Auditorium – Memorial Hall, 205 Meadville Street.
Samantha Prichard, a Titusville, Pa., native and member of Edinboro’s Honors College, will provide the student address during the undergraduate ceremony. Prichard will graduate summa cum laude with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Speech and Hearing Sciences and Psychology and will be honored as the Outstanding Graduate in the Communication Sciences and Disorders Department.
Additional speakers include Dr. Scott E. Miller, senior vice president of Academic Affairs and provost; John Wheeler, who serves as the student trustee on the Edinboro University Council of Trustees; and Mitch Kallay (’90), president of the Alumni Association Board of Directors.
Dr. Dale-Elizabeth Pehrsson will also deliver a virtual address to the Class of 2022.

DePalma, who received her bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communication and a minor in Leadership Studies, also served as academic, social and public relations chair for her sorority – Delta Zeta – and managed the EU Phonathon Team. She recently completed her graduate assistantship in Edinboro’s Office of Advancement.

Dr. Juanita Kasper, associate professor in Edinboro University’s School of Education, will serve as Mace Bearer for the Graduate Commencement ceremony.
The distinction of mace bearer emphasizes the importance of faculty in Edinboro’s academic environment and the central role that faculty play in the academic and personal development of Edinboro students.
A quartet from the Edinboro University Singers will deliver the national anthem – arranged by composer Peter van den Honert – at the Undergraduate Ceremony. Brenden Brzozowski, a junior Computer Science major, will deliver the national anthem at the Graduate Ceremony.
