“This ranking highlights the quality experience students receive while working with passionate researchers, clinicians and leaders in the field of counseling of the highest caliber,” said Dr. Adrienne Dixon, head of the Counseling program.

Courses are designed for working teachers and professionals from any setting, focusing on research-based curriculum design, technology use and integration, families and communities as well as literacy, math, science and assessment (formal and authentic).
“The needs of young children are as important as ever in our assessment-driven climate,” said Dr. Karen Lindeman, head of the Early Childhood Education program. “We need skilled early childhood professionals who focus on the specific needs of these unique learners.”
In ranking the best online graduate programs, Intelligence looked for colleges who provide online education well with both undergraduate and graduate offerings, a characteristic quantified by winning awards. In addition, they generally evaluated each college for the strength of its online resources, reputation, flexibility, affordability, faculty and coursework.
